It's a Season of New Beginnings!
May 27th, 2009 11:24 AM

Everything happen's in May!  Have you noticed that?  Graduations......Wedding.......new gardens........baby calves.......School's out and summer fun begins!

Sometimes I wonder how we can cram everything into one month!  May has been the busiest month I can remember in a long while.  Real Estate is picking up and I am working practically around the clock!  Then, throw in a graduation, a couple of weddings, putting out my garden and rounding up little lost baby calves and you could say my life is FULL!

But aren't new beginning's grand?  My grandson graduated from high school last weekend **using my grandma privileges to brag** with honors.  His immediate plans are to attend the University of Oklahoma.  But the whole world is open to him as he takes his first steps into adulthood.  Congratulations, Logan!

Saturday, was the beautiful wedding of our nephew, Kevin and his bride, Stacy.  It was an afternoon wedding in Shawnee, with an outdoor evening reception.  Our 3 year old grandson was enamored by the flower girl.  The younger children played and danced, while the young people danced (and some of the "young" older people) while the rest of us caught up on family news.

The grandchildren were really loving "the dance" and even pulled their grandmother out onto the dance floor!

The graduation and wedding were fit into a schedule which included an out of town buyer.  The wedding was at the same time as the wedding of the daughter of some very good friends. The newlywed couple are now my clients. I was sorry to miss that wedding. Happy honeymoon to Christine and Josh!  They will be coming home to start their married life in their first home.  It's a beauty!

(Did I mention that I planted flats of flowers and Bill and I searched and found a little lost calf during the weekend?)

After the graduation, the wedding, and a few 12 hour Real Estate days, it was time to refresh and renew at the pond.  We spent the night Sunday and fished on Monday.  We caught bass and perch and they are in the freezer, ready for a fish fry whenever I can work it in.

New beginnings many times means new homes.  If this is a new season in your life, or in the life of someone you know, please give me a call.  I would love to assist in that transition.

It's a great time to be in Real Estate and I am never too busy for any of your referrals.
